LOSS OF GOOD HABIT (READING)

How often do you exercise your body, watch what you eat, calculate your drink calories?often, right? How often do u exercise your brain, feed it the right food of knowledge ? Apart from the social networks i.e Twitter, Facebook, Myspace youtube, etc? Do u ever? How often do u read just for the fun of reading?
The habit of reading enhances the brain, increase knowledge,  helps the mind perform efficiently and make the mind filled with liberalism! Reading a few minutes everyday, (not just any reading but books, Informative magazines, Educative websites and blogs) keeps one abreast of new developments in one’s vicinity and all over the globe.
There are lots of habitual readers and there are lots of once in a blue moon readers who only read because it’s compulsory. There are also people who wants to make reading a habit, but just can’t do it. Well, here are ways to start developing your reading habit and make reading an adventure…

*Pick up a book-  try picking up anything in form of writing, that can be anything, including newspapers, magazines, novels and in this digital era, an e-book etc. The important thing is that the book you choose should be ok for your understanding. Don’t choose a book too complicated or one you can’t understand its contents because it will just waste your time.
*Before you start reading a book-  browse the table of contents to form an idea of what the book is about. In storybooks or fictional books, there will usually be a short description at the back. You can look at the description to get a better idea of the book’s contents.
*Digital wise- try to read details of electronic books before downloading them, see what it’s all about, check the kilo bytes for beginners so as not to get pressured into more pages, download lower kilo bytes for starters  and read a few pages everyday and increase as time goes on.
Enjoy learning, it holds the key to life!
